Extronics specialise in products for use in extremely hazardous environments and explosive atmospheres. OPD designed and co-ordinated the manufacture of their iCAM501 digital camera which also incorporated a handy memo feature for taking audio notes. The product exceeded ATEX, IECEx, MET Class 1 intrinsic safety and was IP65 rated.
