The new Cellsense model had to be both more rugged and adaptable than its predecessor. With a variety of use cases, it had to look at home in a broad range of environments including healthcare settings, corporate offices and correctional facilities.

The Cellsense ultra utilises an enhanced sensor architecture, giving far higher accuracy, consistency and detection sensitivity than the previous model as well as a completely new modular construction method, as well as an increased environmental specification and reduced production costs.

The interface was developed to create a clearer, more intuitive user experience. The result is a slimline and sleek, portable pole with 5 – zone location LED indicators at the height level corresponding to the contraband item detected, improving secondary screening efficiency.
