Insights Discovery and Christmas Party

Friday was the OPD Christmas party!

After some coffee, tea, juices, and pastries, we kicked off the day with our second Insights Discovery session. Through a mixture of team-led activities we chatted and reflected on the impact of our previous Insights Discovery session within our business and then looked forward to how we can use it to develop our teamwork and communication in the future.

The team enjoyed getting to know new people across the business as we mixed outside of our usual working groups, significant with the 14 new OPD team members who have joined since last Christmas. A huge thanks to Jane, our Head of People, for organising such an engaging and impactful session.

After a productive and enlightening morning in Harwell, we headed up to Oxford for a delicious team meal at Branca. A big shoutout to Caitlin and Jenny for ensuring the food and drinks throughout the day were absolutely perfect.

Finally, to close our meal, Clare, Operations Director at OPD, shared some heartfelt words. It was great to celebrate our individual and collective wins for 2024, and it was a wonderful reminder of the incredible talent and teamwork here.
