Oxsight featured in the Ergonomist

In the latest issue of The Ergonomist, our very own Senior Design Consultant Tom Malloy describes our recent project with OXSIGHT.

Low vision can have an enormous impact on an individual’s ability to perform a variety of everyday tasks from driving and shopping to travel, resulting in reduced independence and quality of life. Specialist technology is now being used to enhance vision for those with impairments, but incorporating this technology into wearable devices brings its own set of challenges.

In the article, Tom shares how - by integrating human factors engineering throughout the design process - we were able to incorporate OXSIGHT’s technology into an adaptable wearable, resulting in an effortless and enjoyable experience for the user and increasing adoption with the intended product market.
